help.

my mother and father are in a second marriage together. they constantly fight and get on each others nerves. some fights even get physical (mother furiously hitting my father) . it's been going on since as long as i can remember and im always the one who witnesses it. my sister can care less she is 18 and in college, she doesnt care if they divorce or what happens, she doesnt have to deal with it. i can relate better to my father than my mother and generally take sides with him, but not always agree with what my father has to say about my mother, vice versa. both have their opinion on what is happening and my father will say something, my mother will say something and im stuck in the middle. this isnt fair to me to have this happen always. always my mother explodes on about the same time. the past two years its been my birthday. and i have to sit at the table with my cake watching as both dont speak as im sweatting bullets hoping that nothing sparks and erupts. as i said my mother will say something and my father will say something. i dont know what to believe or do. i try to find things to soothe what is happening but it just doesnt work anymore. i wish i could just run away from this but i dont want to leave nor hurt either of my parents or my family.

How old are you? I'm just a kid myself, so I'm not sure what kind of advice to give you. I just want to let you know that I'll be here in case you want someone to talk to. And I'm sorry about your birthday and everythign else. I know that has to be hard for you. When is your birthday? just wondering.

Like I said before, I don't know about how much advice I can give you, but I'll be glad to listen.
