Today I am grateful for having the strength and courage to come back to this site and not hide in my little world

Yeah, this place can get under your skin sometimes. Lately we have people who just want to invade threads and be contrary.
Just focus on why you came here. To do good, or to get help. This is a nice thread and I hope it stays that way.... :roll:

I’m at the good end of my ‘stuff’. It was a long hard road and I’m grateful to family and friends, and forums like this one, for all the help and understanding I received.

Looking back it was tough but at least I had my family. It breaks my heart to read some of the posts on here where so many people are struggling alone.

I'm grateful that I still know how to be happy.

And also for the alters that act like the glue that holds the rest together, and try to keep the more anti-social ones in check. Which is good because one or two are quite scary...

You have DID? I didn't know that. I find MPD fascinating. I have several friends with it. The rest of us think we are complicated but Multiples puts it to a whole new level. It is very cool that you appreciate them too. They need that.

I am grateful for my children, without them I would of been a gonna along time ago.

Grateful for things that happen for no reason but shed a whole new light on my world.

Today I found a lost dog. Much different from my own. She's quiet and sweet, a Pomeranian mix I think. Mines a pug so....kinda self explanatory if you know dogs. So this new one will stay with us until we find her home. She will be safe and well cared for here.
Seems like I have been finding and rescuing animals all my life. It is really enjoyable to getting to see how every animal has a unique personality. I am grateful for animals of all shapes and sizes.
