I watched this TED video, (http://www.ted.com/talks/brene_brown_on ... ility.html), and it was gripping and refreshing. The main message of the talk was that the purpose of life is to connect with people. There is no greater purpose for which we were made. Anything else is secondary and only meant to bring people together.
I also came to realized that during my college years that people come and go when we are young. You probably got very close to people you met years ago and now only see them a few times a year. There is nothing wrong about this or anything we can do about it either. Your best of best friends will always be there for you. All the other people you love will come back to you if you wish it to be so.
My last bit of advice would be one thing that is keeping you unhappy is that you might not be pursuing that which you are truly most passionate about. I graduated from college and moved to Japan for five months. It was a fantastic experience that I would not take back, but it was not my true passion. After I moved back to the US, I made a promise to myself to go after that which I most desired to work in, and I start my new job in the video game industry next week. I have never been more happy in my life!
You can do this! Everyday you wake up, instead of focusing on what you do not have, be grateful for all you do. Try new things and meet new people, doing this will make you more attractive and bring more people into your life! You can get your hope back and feel more alive than ever! I know you will turn out fine!
