What features are most important to add?

Hello all,

We're trying to figure out how to best meet your needs and this poll should get us pointed in the right direction. If you choose "other" and include a post I'll add your ideas to the poll.

thanks Sean, this is nice of you.

I vote for other, ........notifiers with the responders name is nice.
Also if I may, a "recieved" notification at the top of the post would be nice, so we can tell if the person has recieved our response.

Thanks so much for you concerns, dd

I do give two thumbs up for the font options, the Quote options, the smilies  , and the ability to post as annonymous.. VERY NICE!!!!!!
dd,

I voted, but never mentioned this. Good call!

I really should have mentioned myself that these options are special attractions here! Thanks for bringing them up! :)

I voted, but didn't mention these things when I did. (voted for "threading")

Hmm... well we're definitely looking at threading. It may actually mean changing to a different forum software to do it but it's very needed in my opinion (and in many others it seems).

I don't know how we'd be able to track whether or not a response has been read by a specific user without whole new system. I'll have to check some other packages and see if this is available anywhere.

To post images use the IMG button.

Example:

When you see an image you want to post, other than personal files, right click on the image, it says properties, use that url and copy and paste it in after you hit the Img option in your reply, then paste the url then hit the Img again. The image should show up.

Good luck, just practice you'll get it.

i voted 'other'. why has anonymous posting being disabled? i think the requirement to register will put off alot of potential contributers, particularly those with paranoid tendancies.

chatrooms would be nice, too, may i suggest a #psychforums on freenode (or some #######5 irc network).

I agree that chatrooms would be great for registered members - I also agree it would be a good idea not to give guest access given the nature of these forums. I don't use chatrooms at all but I probably would here.

My personal vote goes to a blog option. I am posting my thoughts (in appropriate threads!) because it helps me to sort it out. I thought I saw a 'diary' thread or some such but I can't seem to find it now.
One place to put it all would be a perfect alternative to putting my (wordy) posts elsewhere.
