HPD and PTSD (HPD's only please)

I’m wondering if there are any other HPD’s with PTSD out there, ok, at least reading in here.

Lately (for me that’s the last year or so) I’ve been finding my PTSD symptoms trumping my HPD lifestyle. Is anyone else experiencing this? I’ll ramble on about it in a while if I can find someone who can relate.
If you have both you know EXACTLY what I’m talking about and for those of you who don’t I’ll break it down for you like this: HPD is a fantastic way of dealing with lots of PTSD issues so it keeps it in check pretty well. Never, really, in a healthy way but it allows you freedom from one type of life arresting and disabling disorder at the expense of being HPD. If you felt the need to choose between the two you’d see my point.
Again, if you have both you know and are likely laughing at me right now which is ok, I will too but later when I am a little less fluid of thought about it.

nuh i don't know
i have a serious anxiety issue lately and can't function
yea hpd can be pretty fantastic , it can HELP you to function

Well, anxiety is often a symptom of PTSD so it would seem that you might know what I'm talking about. Does it bother you that something other than HPD can run your life? I mean; when you get used to HPD and how it affects you and others and you get used to it, comfortable with it, enjoy it and come to rely on it as part of your stability against the anxiety and other stuff. Then all of a sudden, it's gone and lets the anxiety in that you thought would never get back in.

Or is that just me?

The trouble with relying on HPD to ward of anxiety, is that HPD in and of itself is an artificial construct, that originated in childhood in an attempt to ward of the effects of the primary core injury. HPD is therefore also a symptom of PTSD from a childhood injury. It is a fragile construct, rather like a lid put on a container. If we can imagine that the container contains all the anxiety evoking incidents in our lives, and gets fuller and fuller, and the lid is the HPD, there will come a point when the container will become piled up and full to overflowing, and the lid will not be able to contain the contents. It is far better to tackle the anxiety at its core, and even allow ourselves to experience its effects (with professional help) rather than to put a lid on it.

Hey. I turned 18 a couple of years back and hence, finally making a sense out of my personality. I've never consulted a doctor neither do I plan on doing that in future. I just need help to make sense out of how I feel. I did an online research on HPD and PTSD and might have symptoms for both. I have experienced things in my life that might lead to PTSD but am not too sure about HPD. The symptoms for both don't feel too severe generally. However, there are some desperate times like right now that things get out of control and i feel vulnerable to my own thoughts. Whatever you wrote in your post made sense. So it would be a huge help if you could elaborate and relate it to daily life to make it more relatable.
