I guess, we would be able to enjoy almost same books/movies

when my boredom was DEADLY
I'd frantically search for 'interesting' thing that can excite me
and... I realized that there are two types of things that can make me feel less bored.

One thing is, umm... existentialistic things and another is... very extreme things.

TOMIE is my recommendation for today I'll explain below

Well,

First, Francoise Sagan's Aimez-vous Brahms...
it is a great book and I think other hpds would like it too (well you could be bored I am not sure about this)
Post-existentialism+Romanticism,

that this book,
rather use 'impression' to deliver the story and feeling, than logic/reason/detail
totally lovable.

;) and the author says
LOVE? ARE YOU KIDDING? That lasts only like, 2 years, 3 maximum
it's a delusion. What I believe in is a PASSION.

Also Nausea by Sartre, I like it too. But these things would not make you EXCITED.
rather 'intereted, fascinated'

Also, Second,

you will TOTALLY like it

Tomie by Ito Junji (manga)

a part of plot from wikipedia-

These terse tales of horror tell the story of a high-school girl named Tomie, who can be seen as a living embodiment of lust and all the negative emotions that go along with it, such as jealousy. Tomie is the ultimate self-destructive entity, yet ironically she survives anything. She is identified by a mole under her left eye.

She possesses an undisclosed power to make anyone fall in love with her. Through sleight of hand, or emotional manipulation, she drives these men into jealous rages that inevitably lead to brutal acts of violence. Men kill each other over her; and girls are sometimes driven to jealous rages as well. Tomie is inevitably killed time and again, only to regenerate. Tomie is cursed to go on forever in this way.

I guess Nons gotta try reading this too lol

oh how much I was excited to read this.

Third,

3 Idiots!(Bollywood Movie) Honestly I am not sure if WHY I am recommending this!

well, it's fun yes. but I think nons would like it more than us.

you HAVE to watch it hpds. (it's boring at the very first though)

It's the movie which made the relationship between me and my mom/dad closer

I am not sure if where I am going now.

so gotta stop here.

so the point of my thread is...

you GOTTA read Tomie though I am not sure if there'd be English translated book.

Happy Weekend everyone <3

Tomie sounds good..but now I'm too bored to read..too bored to search for it..too bored being bored..haha!

But when I'm feeling good..I'll look for that.

You know the movie "A Lot Like Love" with Ashton Kutcher? That's funny $#%^! I relate to that movie.
Imagine joy ride and making love in the middle of the desert?..perfect!

I like bollywood movies too..especially the synchronized dancing.. when the actors would suddenly sing and.. Presto! Out pops the background dancers and they all dance and sing..doing head duck or walk like the Egyptian dance moves...cheesy happy choreography!

I imitate their moves infront of the mirror..and it makes me laugh so hard..

:)
Love tattooed forever..................
