I just watched 2 Elizabeth Taylor movies

Butterfield Eight and
Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf?

If you ever wanted to see movies about personality disorders, these are about the best I've ever seen. In Butterfield Eight, she plays a prostitute who falls in love with a married man and she's Histrionic and he's narcissistic.

In Who's Afraid of Virginia Wolf? I'm not exactly sure what they are because they are drunk. I think she's Histrionic but maybe more than that and I don't know what Richard Burton is either, but the movies are both great.

Anybody else have any movie ideas, suggestions, about PD's?
All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up

Yes, he fakes the sons death because he wants to punish her for going to bed with the husband of the couple they had over to their house.

Turns out she broke the "rule" by telling the wife of the couple they had over that they had a son and he wasn't supposed to be talked about.

They mentally abused each other all night long--it was excrutiating to watch and yet fascinating. They don't make movies like that anymore.

It is a disturbing movie..........I just wanted to kick the crap out of richard burton.

But it's no worse than some of the real life i've seen.

My Grandparents........... my HPD...............etc................

It took me 50 years to "mellow out"............

And 45,000 beers!

Now.......... i'm happy as a lark!

Yep, I grew up around some people like that. Not to that extreme, but sorta like that.

In the movie Butterfield 8 the histrionic character dies in a car crash at the end of the movie--

It turned out also that she was molested by a family friend when she was I think 14 or something like that.

It really explained a lot.

I'm glad you are doing better.

I'm in a good mood today. I'm not crazy HPD lady everyday. Not even that much anymore really.

I suggest "There Will Be Blood" - Daniel Day-Lewis

It's not really a romance though.

Good to see you are in a good mood lately. :)

The BEST movie that epitomizes an HPD girlfriend is..."I Think I Love My Wife"...starring Chris Rock. Very funny AND eye opening too.. You will watch and go..."WOW...thaats her !!! "

Unfortunately HPD's look at movies/music/books that portray them and use it as support for the normalcy of their behavior...ive seen it first hand.
