One of the reasons why you create accurate models is to describe reality, to get an understanding of what is really out there. I'm not a postmodernist - I beieve that there is an external reality independent of all of our mental experience and we are compelled to understand and respect that reality (i.e., if you jump out of an airplane without your parachute something harmful will happen). One of the confusing things about psych forums is there are people who think they are histrionic on the histrionic forum but turn out to be narcissisitic, or borderline, or whatever. So there's a lot of confusion not only for them, but for newer people - non's like myself who are unintentionally misled trying to understand someone else's behavior. Unfortunately the only way seems to be you have to wade in and experience the accounts before you start to get an experienced feel for the different PD's.

Then there's comorbidity... yikes!
Be tolerant of others, but true to yourself. In supporting you, I try to offer common sense. PM me if you need to.
