Yes, better that the SO's write out what they are going through in the Significant Other, Family & Friends forum. That way you can write whatever you need to write, without triggering/hurting people with HPD (this forum is for those with HPD, and those with HPD who use this forum have not done any of the SOs here any harm).

Thank you Tommy for the reply. Yes, I agree with your feedback in taking better care of myself. I realize if I stay this way, I will continue to go down hill and treat future relationships and friendships the same way.
I also agree, how did I let it get so far out of hand? I know what threw me off was that she was physically my type in ever way. In a lot of ways she showed she was also emotionally my type until she would pull her jealousy moves and mind twisting wordsmith.
I appreciate the support and could always use it. I am finally making the decision to move forward and slowly let her go. I can't control anything other than what I choose to do with my life personally. I am still fortunate to have my children, ex-wife, and family as supports in my life.

Physically your type I get it. Emotionally your type though? My experience based on literature is that she mimicked what I was looking for in order to manipulate. Again, my experience is that a high percentage of the relationship was an illusion. Try to let go. Try not to analyse it too much in detail. It is counter intuitive. We want to know what happened. Bottom line for me is that it was very unhealthy. Not worth trying anything. Time to move on. Take care of yourself. You are the most important person to you, not her.

This is for you guys as well. Write whatever you need to write over on SOF&F, sans some vulgarities, and personally identifying info, I don't censor over there.
Just that the people with HPD here have done us no wrong, so it's not fair/cool to them for the SOs to take out anger on someone here on the HPD forum that they don't know, and project things unto them that they haven't done.
But nothing wrong with being angry, pissed, hurt, etc. That's what SOF&F is for.
That written, general questions/thoughts about HPD are welcome here.
