Making my life not so enjoyable!!!

Rant of the day... or just a mere coincidence!!!

Hi all...

I'm beginning to question my Luck... Well yes, as luck would have it... made it to the office today at 9:45 a.m.
I never get to the office this late. EVER. I typically park a block away from the office on a street that is perpendicular to my office. So I cross the street, as always, and walk down to my office facing on coming traffic.

Much to my surprise, (and I'm being sarcastic here) I see a familiar car... with a familiar face... My Ex N of course...

Life is funny, I keep saying that to myself. So when she "noticed me" or better yet when "I noticed" that "she noticed me", she made the "subtle decision" of switching lanes from the one closest to the sidewalk (and me) to the center one.

At the time, I was talking in my cellphone carrying my briefcase, don't ask me why, but just for shits and giggles ,or maybe it was just instinctual, I did a very detached 2 finger wave, thus acknowledging her presence(9:47).

Of course she ignore my very existence. And pretended to look straight on (she always wears those dark sunglasses, so you cant really see her eyes at all) So I don't know...

I went inside my office, got to my desk, and felt so bad... I went back out to get fresh air and smoke a cigarette. I was in the side walk facing oncoming traffic and next thing (9:59) there she was coming back from where she had gone. So she only saw my back and naturally I only saw the back of her car.

1- Kids are out of school for summer break.
2- After school finished she went on a trip with her kids and mom... (found out through the grapevine).
3- She had not seen me in 2 weeks... I guess it was her turn to do her foghorn-leghorn routine.
4- Naturally after memorial day weekend... It's her first chance to try an run into me. Jesus what are the odds!!!!
4- No reason whatsoever to use that Rd. None.
5- Finally she looked really pissed off... and yes this time I did look ;( I'm only human.

Later on 2:30(pm) I went to the bank, and yes! yet again in a completely different avenue... boom the she was just passing by in her car. This time I know she didn't see me. I was in a coworkers car at an angle she couldn't possibly have seen me but I did look at her.... She looked so pissed but in an expressionless sort of way!!! Iike with the thousand yard expression, just by the contortion of her face... Remember I went to design school, and as a very detail oriented person, I do notice things. I don't get it... how could I possibly get it???....


I must admit I feel terrible.... I feel sorry giving her the pleasure of acknowledging her even if by tacitly 2 fingered waving at her... it was like an instinctual reaction... deer caught in the headlights moment!!!... and yes almost broke-down in the bathroom this morning!!! what a way of braking 2 months of NC. Just weird! I seriously feel like disappearing...


Can't really believe this... sure feels like I'm stuck in a bad episode of the twilight zone!


So again Luck???? or coincidence???

Mine stalked me after I dumped her. On one occasion she rammed her car into mine at a stoplight!

Maybe next time you should give her the one finger wave!

Again, didn't you post this in the NPD forum?
I don't think it's a great idea to copy and paste identical posts in two forums.
Since you'll never know whether your exGF is either HPD or NPD or whatever she might be if anything, it might be a good idea to just pick the forum you wish and just post there.
I'm sorry you are going through this.

Only last week I bumped into my ex....(we work in the same field so it's bound to happen ocasssionally) although on thinking about it later, she had no reason to be in that place at that time....she caught me unawares (I wasn't expecting to see her there). She gave me a big "HELLO" ...friendly kiss on the cheek, a bit of forced small talk (which I politely foreshortened).....I was still in the same place when she came by 20 minutes later, I intended to say goodbye (that's how pathetic/sad I am) but she made a point of avoiding my eye and breezed straight past me.....was that her intention all along? or had I made her mad by cutting off her "interesting" story? Why do they do this $#%^? they stalk us and then ignore us...I suppose they have to see that they still have an effect.....I'm proud to say that I never flinched or called out after her (although I got home and cried like a baby later) what a great day....

You are right I did repost my original post in the Histrionic forum... due to the nature of " first loves" coming back to old stomping grounds (which seems to happen a lot here in the HPD forum)... There seems to be more guys who have gone through the hands of either NPD/HPDs here.

It was not my intention to create confusion or clutter... I'm going to therapy, I'm doing NC... Just wanted to compare notes...

with regard to my second posting... she does keep stalking me at work... needless t say it's very troubling to me.
