Any relation to Sun signs

Postby newtohpd » Fri Apr 09, 2010 8:55 pm

I know I am asking a stupid question since I don't believe it myself :D but still out of curiosity:

I was having dinner with a friend of mine with whom I shared my story for the first time with since we met after a long time and he suggested an interesting angle to it. This guy is big-time into astrology and stuff and he casually suggested to me that the criteria for HPD I told him seems to be the characteristics of certain Sun signs - Leo woman and Gemini man.

Does that ring a bell with anyone? :D (Sofrance, yumi?)

Taurus.
Ironically, this added to my attraction to him as a close friend of mine (female) is also Taurus and in the begining of my relationship with him (when I would discuss his/my 'suitability' or 'match' to each other) would sprout all these great Taurus traits - like reliability, strength, dedication to a partner, etc etc. I remember one of my earlier phone conversations with him when he told me 'I'm a one man-one woman kind of guy'. Ha, maybe he meant 'one AT A time but not linearly seperate in time'???? lol He was 'technically' right - he certainly did not want us all around at the same time! This is just another example of how we get rolled in and answers a little of the question he recently asked me of 'but HOW do we make others fall in love with us?'
Funny really, this also ties in to the last post I just wrote. This friend of mine also knew him (close uni friend so saw him as much as I did at uni) and encouraged my relationship with him. She was just as shell shocked as I to discover the extent of his lies and deceipt to me. 'But you could see a mile away how much he loved you!' she said. mmm, really??

Zodiac signs are absolute nonsense that only women believe in because they lack logic and love to believe in fantasy bs. Zodiac signs have absolutely no relation to HPD. That guy who you were talking to seems to be delusional.

Nah not really lol. :P

If you read my post history you would notice that I'm the blunt type of person so I'm just telling it how it is. I thought people would appreciate truth in a message board instead of fantasy but if you're against that well hey each to their own. :)

If you want me to prove it then fine... I just couldn't be bothered in my first post.

All women function via emotion. Men function via logic. This is a fact, look it up on google if you must.

Astrology feeds into this fantasy bs (remember this is from a male logical point of view so don't go all psycho on me) that women love. They lack logic so they fail to realise all the blatantly obvious signs that astrology is #######4, and they would rather stay in their emotional dramatic world and try predict their future and find hidden meanings in their life and $#%^ for drama and fun.

Being a logical male you have no use for such nonsense in your life, and you can tell so easily that these horoscopes and zodiac signs are full of silly generalizations and have no real use. Astrology would only appeal to an androgynous man seemingly like the one in the OPs post.

Also the generalizations over zodiac signs is crazy, it's beyond my comprehension how any male could believe this stuff. People actually believe that you can determine people's personality traits and how 2 people would get along with one another etc JUST from knowing their zodiac signs. For example I think Leo's are meant to be attention-seeking. Does that mean no-one born between 22 July – 23 August will ever have AvPD? Pfft. Being born at a certain time does not affect your personality whatsoever, mostly how you were raised does.

I couldn't care less if you believe in horoscopes whatever, I'm saying it how it is from my male point of view. I understand that women are emotional and that is their nature so they have their own reasons for enjoying astrology and I have nothing against that... it's just the way things are.

You happy now?
