How same they are...yours is a cop, mine is a doctor but his hobby is hunting wild animals...He talks all the time about sex but he has erection problems..He cries all the time and if he has no excuse for his behaviour he says that he is a poor guy and cries..He believes that he is the best at his job...any dissaggrement to that belief dissapoints him...He make everything to have social approval and attention...I do the same job and all the time tries to show that I need him because he has knowledge in the subject that noone has.

I thought my ex was gay. He was a girl scout leader when his daughters were in scouts. Very into his clothes, cleaning, being "mom". Also had ED problems. He would hoover and be very overprotective- but not let me set boundaries. He would grab my hand and put it "there". when I asked him not to do that he would say - "you did it first so I thought you wanted it". Problem was I never did it like "that". I mean he did it in a dirty way. If you know what I mean. Still he couldn't get excited. It was creepy. He volunteered at a girls orphanage in Honduras 3 times - he was upset cuz a supervisor reprimanded him for getting to close to the girls. I wonder-can a HPD be a perv? Or was he looking for love there? He is a dental hygienist and was there to teach dental hygiene. But, I worry he went there for attention. Anyway, male HPD have issues with women, I think. Or my ex has some other thing going. His mom was parnoid to the extent she didn't leave the house thinking everyone was out to get her. Sad. Just my experience, maybe it will help some.

Upon reading my post above I realize how important it is to not try and diagnose my ex myself.
