That's what someone with HPD is like? Wow, she's irritating in the extreme! There doesn't seem much to be charmed by from that video - she even looks like she's scaring the poor lads next to her.

Can't say I've ever met anyone quite like that in reality but I suppose that's an extreme version of the typical "drama queen" that most of us are familiar with.

Nevertheless, I hope you feel better soon
Thanks MyWave. Although, I am not feeling much better, I greatly appreciate the nice gesture.
donlimpio, I didn't take what you said as a personal attack. Sir*Lingam summed up what was on my mind quite well actually. I just admire the way that people with HPD seem to just get on with things and never look back. If they did look back, they'd see their paths of destruction.
Look, I'm just going through a tough time and am trying to figure out how to be happy. I don't like the thought of being happy at other peoples' expenses though.
Take care,
Kevin
I'd just like to interject from a perspective of someone who has been very past centric, and yes the not looking back is admirable on its own, sans a community descructive disorder, which is what these people have. It's far more productive and useful to keep moving forward, and looking to the now, and if these people weren't disordered it would be a positive trait in them, and its something I'm trying to get in the habit of doing.

That would explain the confused in the confused 88 of the name. Make no positive point of the hpd, there is really nothing that positive about them? The actions, wants or needs are JUST FOR THEM?
In a world of just histrionic people? How would that look?
Hpd people being a positive positive thing?
Why did I never walk away
Why I played myself this way
Now I see
Testing me, pushes me away

Yes there is nothing charming about the constant attention seeking that she is doing, but they never start out like that. This video is more like the final act of the play. You notice how everyone is uncomfortable because she redirects all the attention back to her no matter the conversation? How about how long it took her to bake? 3 hours is the number if I remember correctly. My HPD talks about her breasts like that. She will tell anyone who listens that she is now a full "D" cup. Mention Victoria Secret and she will quickly tell you her size and how they have grown. They are drama queens, just like in Bersteins book, Emotional Vampires. The conversations are all about them and what is going on in their life or what they like. No one else can have the spotlight. "All right, Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up" is and HPD's motto.
