Are they evil?

From my point of view people with HPD are totally evil.
They are like devilish tricksters, chaotic, kontrolling and ruthless.
The more they smile the more malevolent they are
and they are endlessly greedy and selfdestructive proud.
They are faschistic and wants to be self-appointed leaders
without any skill.
They are incapable of competions or any requirous deserving for
total admiration.
They give nothing and take all.
They pretent to be compassionate but are just
and only love when they are afraid of that person.
The meaner someone is the more considerate and angelike they become to that person while they betray and spit on their equals.
They are no proud and productive justified egoists because they
are not self-centered and they don't leave others to mind their buissiness.
They are justified in their emotionality either,
they are neither sensible,intuitive nor empathic
and that is the only justification of emotions.
They are emotionally stupid, not in the sense that all emotions
are bad but that their emotions are extremely stupid.
There is no reason for their emotions
and theire is no artistic product in them either.
Their emotions are stupidier and less meaningfull than those of insects but they scream out their stupidity and force it on others
just because they are not really emotionally.
They are not proud because they deserve it. They are thyrants
without any justification.
They don't love or know anyone, because everyone is just an vague idea.

Therefore they are not alive for they demons with faces of men.

This sounds like my Ex wife.......she's HPD & NPD...............

It would be evil for a normal person to do the things she does.
But she has no conscience or empathy for others, so when she
treats people like dirt it's nothing to her. Mine simply is heartless.
But she tries to act nice to get what she wants.........she is like a
defective, bratty, eight year old kid...........

Wow Sky, that's a strong post, you sound very bitter. Despite much truth in the characteristics that you describe, i don't think there is any deliberate intent to hurt anyone else, therefore no deliberate evil. They are a bit like bull's in china shops. They don't mean to wipe out the full china shop they just do, then don't even realise the damage they left behind let alone learn from it .

I've been thinking about this one, I went off on a train of thought.

I origanally thought they were like Vampires, they suck the life, money, energy out of you (then blame you for not being 'a laugh').
Vampires like themselves and seem conceited - NPD ?

But the school of thought that says they have no controll over their condition would make them more like werewolves - HPD ?

I don't believe they are inherently evil. That would imply exercising will and control with malicious intent. Instead, they see themselves as victims just doing what they must to survive in a world of adversity and unfortunate circumstances. This world has dealt them a bad hand (which is true) and is conspiring to deny them the love and adoration they desire so much. They seek out objects as saviors to rescue them, invest their identity in this person, idealize the fantasy this person represents. The object is seen as possessing power which could be used to alleviate their suffering, yet the partner selfishly refuses to deliver and becomes the object of scorn and resentment. While the HPD plays the innocent victim she harbors anger and resentment, having received so little from the person in whom she has invested her sense of self. Not characteristically prone to outward expression of this anger, which would be inconsistent with the victim role, it manifests as passive aggressive manipulation and undermining of the partner's self and well being. At the point that the partner is drained and has allowed his own sense of self to be cannibalized, his soul sucked dry, it would be easy to characterize the HPD as evil. But the fact is they are broken in a more fundamental way than their victims, unable to experience the joy of love and meaning in life as other people do. In that sense they are indeed victims––but the problem is that they damage or destroy the souls to whom they attach in an effort to be rescued. I go back and forth all the time between anger, compassion and pity for my ex-hpd. But when I have the larger perspective I realize that I am capable of moving on, being fulfilled emotionally, and attaining what they seek but will never find.

What about the ones who Know they have HPD and don't seek treatment?

My ex HPD fit this category. She knew she was an HPD yet did not make a honest effort at treatment. Instead she has chronically lied, manipulated, and hurt a good many of people. She also neglects her children and never attempts to clean her house...

She does this cause she is addicted to her disorder. She loves the thrill of the chase(no matter who get's hurt), she loves having sex as much as possible(whether she is committed or not), and she enjoys trying to control her prey through making a concious effort to present a fake personna(only to emotionally cripple them later)...

It is ALL about her...Damn her kids, damn her lovers, and damn her family and friends...

There is a 'darkness' about their destruction that cannot be denied
