how did you act in school?

In High School I always felt uncomfortable when I didnt have attention and I would do really crazy and embarrasing things such as bang my head on desk or scream out of nowhere, or pull leaves off of trees and hand them out to random people, fake ilnesses, sit on the floor, etc. These were all me acting out for attention. I dont know if that classidies as HPD but now that ive graduated and I'm not around a whole bunch of people everyday. I don't really feel those urges or craving for attention. It's just being in a school environment made me super attention crazy.

We cannot diagnose here, and the HPD criteria includes multiple patterns of thinking/behaving that someone would have to exhibit as a life long pattern before a professional would.

It is somewhat interesting that the criteria identifies "uncomfortable when not the center of attention", but this is just one of the criteria. Those high school years can be tough, and I suspect a lot of us struggled with how to fit in at the time, but could also just be that, and you've grown out of it.
