Song dedicated for an HPD?

Let me tell you my story, i'll keep it short...

I, as many people here, fell in love for an HPD. With the time i could notice that there was something wrong, and that was: Does she like me or is she using me?

I thought she liked me because of the provocative talking, touching, and the laughs. But i was skeptic about it because: she had a boyfriend, and never intended to "push things further" (gladly). In the middle of the whole thing idk know how, maybe destiny (yes, destiny!), but I found this song, read the lyrics, and it applied to my skeptic point of view of the situation. It helped me to put "safety locks" and prepare myself for what i suspected.

Little Coquette - Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians

I don't think it's necessary to explain every line of the lyrics, but if you've been through it you'll analyze and understand it very well.

Hear me, why you keep fooling
Little coquette, making fun of the one who loves you
Breaking hearts you are ruling
Little coquette, true hearts tenderly dreaming of you.
Someday you'll fall in love as I fell in love with you.
Maybe the one you love will just be fooling too.
And when you are alone with all your regrets,
You know, my little coquette, I love you.

Someday you'll fall in love as I fell in love with you.
Now, maybe the one you love will just be fooling too.
And when you are alone with all your regrets,
Now, you know, my little coquette, I love you.

Do you know any other song dedicated for an HPD?

Hello guys,

Just a reminder. The HPD forum is a support forum for individuals struggling with Histrionic Personality Disorder.

We have other forums for relationship issues regarding pwHPD. The two primary forums are either the Relationship forum or Significant Others Family and Friends. The latter forum deals with difficult relationships.

Let us refrain from any posting that may be deemed insensitive, triggering, or harmful to HPD individuals on this forum.

Thanks

In This Moment - Big Bad Wolf

Fighting the urges to mess with the opposite sex or dramatize can be a bit rough. I don't know what it's like for others but really starting to deal with the first especially is quite unpleasant. The frustrating fight for control led quickly enough to territory that was all pain usually felt as physical, "gag orders" that stop me from giving voice to some things, feeling my mind's eye turned away from what I'm trying to think about or let myself feel, pain and confusion.

Sometimes I still laugh maniacally about having gotten the coquettish bitch under control, as one might laugh at the memory of having utterly crushed an enemy. Maybe the BPD makes me more factious but it really feels too much like having beaten an alternate personality that occasionally took control and left me with the memories of what it felt, thought and did.

I'd say the lyrics relate the initial frustrating willful struggles fairly well. Not so much the crying like a baby for having inflicted on others emotional injuries that are far to familiar... when the scars can even be felt.
