Hi everyone I'm new here and don't have HPD I just want to know more about it. According to the famous psychoanalysis James Masterson who specializes in disorders of the self Avoidant, Histrionic and Dependent personality disorder all fall under the Borderline personality cluster they are subtypes and share the same underlying mental structure the only difference is their defensive styles. All fear abandonment by their love objects more than anything else. For those of you who are interested I'd recommend his books he's written quite a few. Hope this was helpful.
