Songs wrote for a histrionic?

Wonder how many songs have been written with an experience of a histrionic relationship behind them?
Here's one that came to mind.

Performed by dokken

I should'a known better
Should'a seen right thru
Over and over falling in love with you
Wanting you for myself- my first mistake
Finding out the hard way
Was all that I could take

You were just using someone
And I was the one

She said "You just got lucky"
I believed your deadly lies
"You just got lucky"
I've been hypnotized
She said "You just got lucky"
I believed your deadly lies
"You just got lucky"
You're a devil in disguise

Don't wanna hear no lies- no apologies
Imagination gets the best of me
I'm looking everywhere- still I see your face
I'll never forget you- you put me in my place

You were just using someone
And I was the one

She said "You just got lucky"
I believed your deadly lies
"You just got lucky"
I've been hypnotized
She said "You just got lucky"
I believed your deadly lies
"You just got lucky"
You're a devil in disguise

Now that is over and I've seen right through
Not looking back again I'll start anew
Was making love to you such a wasted time
Maybe I love you, still, I'll get you off my mind

You were just using someone
And I was the one

She said "You just got lucky"
I believed your deadly lies
"You just got lucky"
I've been hypnotized
She said "You just got lucky"
I was taken by surprise
"You just got lucky"
You're a devil in disguise

Could be HPD, NPD, or maybe even BPD. Or maybe just about someone who was in a young and impulsive phase of life.

Since Marilyn Monroe was thought by many to be suffering with HPD (others have thought BPD), Elton John's memorial song to her "Candle in The Wind" is an obvious pick...would be interesting to ask him if he was aware of her alleged HPD condition when he wrote/performed it.

See at least three previous PF threads about same topic. This one histrionic-personality/topic101928.html has a particularly good example (submitted by Exquisite Corpse):

"Driving in Cars with Boys", Lana Del Ray [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7XnNFD6hUE ]

They say I'm wasting time, they said that I'm no good
'Cause Imma love my life, not doing what I should
Call me poison ivy 'cause I'm far from good
Pretty from afar, like a dark star

They say I'm dangerous, they think I'm really bad,
I'm just making up for what I never had
Go out at night whenever I feel sad
Oh this drive by love got me crazy like a drug

I wear my wig, lipstick, got my make up on
Stumble into trouble, siren with a sad song
They all got girlfriends but i'm the one that they want

Miss America with the blue mascara on

I spent my whole life driving in cars with boys,
Riding 'round town drinking in the white noise
Used to talk about where we've been and where we go.
Now we know, baby, now we know
Spent my whole life wasted in bars with boys
Playing rock n roll dancing in the loud noise
Used to talk about where we've been and where we go.
Now we know, baby, now we know

Mommy's Mercedes or Billy's pick up truck
Comes out late at night and baby picks me up
Tell him just drive on and d-don't ever stop
Don't take me home again take me to a new land

I wear my red lipstick, grab my coat and gun
Wonder if this is it, its darkest before dawn
[ From: http://www.elyrics.net ]
Sometimes I wanna give in but I just have to go on
Miss America now I'm gone, baby, gone.

I was born to live fast die young
Leave a beautiful corpse, live my life on the run
Got my cash, my Louis Vuitton, diamonds and guns
Girls just wanna just wanna have fun

I spent my whole life driving in cars with boys,
Riding 'round town drinking in the white noise
Used to talk about where we've been and where we go.

It's kind of a "girls will be girls" song, but some of the lyrics especially register with me. To me, the song is about wasting your life searching for outside validation. "I spent my whole life driving in cars with boys, Spent my whole life wasted in bars with boys". At the height of my disorder, my life completely revolved around what I was going to wear, where I was going for the night, who I was going to see. It was shallow, and to me, a waste. Instead of putting energy into school or building a career, I was debating on outfits. It was an addiction.

"They say I'm dangerous, they think I'm really bad,
I'm just making up for what I never had
Go out at night whenever I feel sad
Oh this drive by love got me crazy like a drug"

Yep, that's me. Trying to fill myself with all the attention I can get to fill my inner void.

See the songs in my signature. One is called, appropriately "Masquerade", and the other is "Perfect" by Alanis Morrisette. It says a lot about my parent's expectations of me when i was growing up.

These song lyrics could have been written by a NON man in a relationship with an HPD female. Read carefully and I think you'll understand what I mean.

The band is from the UK called The Buzzcocks
You can watch it on youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0G0AF0g08aU

You spurn my natural emotions
You make me feel I'm dirt and I'm hurt
And if I cause a commotion
I'll only end up losing you and that's worse

Ever fallen in love with someone
Ever fallen in love, in love with someone
Ever fallen in love, in love with someone
You shouldn't have fallen in love with

I can't see much of the future
Unless we find out what now just what's to blame
And we won't be together much longer
Unless we realize that we're all the same
That's what I'm saying

Ever fallen in love with someone
Ever fallen in love, in love with someone
Ever fallen in love, in love with someone
You shouldn't have fallen in love with

You spurn my natural emotions
You make me feel I'm dirt and I'm hurt
And if I cause a commotion
I'll only end up losing you and that's worse
My friend

Ever fallen in love with someone
Ever fallen in love, in love with someone
Ever fallen in love, in love with someone
You shouldn't have fallen in love with

Did you ever fall in love?
Did you ever fall in love?
Did you ever, did you ever did you ever?

Did you ever fall in love?
Did you ever fall in love?
Did you ever, did you ever, did you ever?

Mirror in the bathroom
I just can't stop it,
Every Saturday you see me
window shopping.
Find no interest
in the racks and shelves
Just ten thousand reflections
of my own sweet self, self, self...
