This seems to be one of those features that holds true in nearly ever HPD case.

Perhaps those who've seen HPDs can post descriptions.

The uniqueness of the stare is not so much its length, but the whole facial expression contained in it. I'll attempt a description: the facial muscles are all relaxed, there is absolutely no tension... she looks completely stone-faced and it's difficult to tell what she's thinking. However, her eyes have this piercing quality, they seem to see through your body. The eyes are wide open, but not too wide.

You pretty much said it about as good as it can be said. 8)

I think part of the reason they do that is all of them objectify people so when they look at us it is no different to them than looking at their refrigerator or a couch.

The times their eyes look normal are when they are wearing their normal mask.
