Home sickness

Over the past few monthes I have become incredibly homesick after moving from a very nice suburban area with many cultures and much diversity to a small country town. Ive constantly dreamed and longed to go back to my old house and the feelings drive me crazy and i fantasize all day of my old neighborhood and life. It hasnt decreased at all and i long to go back so badly. And now I've started to get strange feelings of derealization and emptiness which makes me nervous and uncomfortable. Some of this is very hard to describe. Is this all a normal part of the grieving process?

I'm sorry noone is feeling sympathy for you, but you should be happy you have a home, even your own home, I have to obey to strict rules in my mom's house to live here until I get a place of my own and I'm coming off a gringo trip to Mexico where I have places to live there but is that a good thing?

Sorry I'm stealing the sunlight but again you are lucky, I might be locked up for another month before my doctor lets me go back to work.

thbkhd, I am reading this website for the first time today and have followed your posts here about your losses from the beginning.

I am saddened that your last post here was not as supportive as you needed to hear. I can't imagine losing my Mom and then having to live with relatives that I don't have a bond with in a new place.. all that is familiar was taken away.

I hope you are now adjusting to living with your uncle and aunt and that they have been supportive to you. I also hope that the school you are attending is also supportive and that you have met new friends.

Look this happens in those people's life when first getting love from our house and after going far from this. I had experienced this in life and can tell you surely that you can come out from this.For this you have to make company of those people who knows how to spend life with cheerfulness and carry on good mental positive attitude.
So i suggest you that whenever negative derealization and emptiness comes to you just don't give them any reactions. Give reaction good thinking.
