More problems

Well, I've been having stomach problems for several months now- because of tension I've had trouble swallowing and keeping it down and while I'm eating I feel like gagging- and I frequently do!-and by the end of the meal I usually feel completely nauseous. It's been getting worse lately. Today during a celebration I almost puked right on the table- in a restaurant. A crowded restaurant. Man, if it'd happened I think I would've died of embarrasement. Almost happened the night before, too, except not quite as bad- it seems to be worsening.
The best thing is, when I told my dinner companion what was going on their response was, "Another panic attack, huh? Awww (pitying look)...oh well, let's forget about that and keep celebrating(big smile)!" Keep celebrating yourself, I hafta go lie down and try not to puke.
I've decided that trying to explain this to people who don't have anxiety problems is like trying to explain quantum physics to chimps. It all gets you to the same place: nowhere.
Ah, well, that's a rant, but the real question is, of course, how do I stop gagging and vomiting at meals???

deal with your anxiety. the high level stress affects your bodily functions, messes up your stomach etc etc. probably some medication along with exposure therapy would be the most effective treatment, since your body is probably use to being all cramped up by now.

I used to get stomach problems as well, omega-3 really helped me; so easy and inexpensive to try, see www.naturalanxietytreatment.com for research links showing its effectiveness
