I don't have an anxiety diagnosis but i'm pretty sure i should.. anyway
yeah.. ive found that adderall clears up most of my SOCIAL anxiety problems. (although a lot of them stem from ADHD issues- i have a hard time talking because i can never think of the right word, im just generally inarticulate, get off-track, dont follow conversations, etc etc. On adderall my brain catches up with my tongue or vice versa and i'm way more articulate)

BUT... it kinda puts me on edge in other ways. like any mess will make me EXTREMELY anxious. any mess ALREADY makes me pretty anxious.. but on adderall. whoa. However, on adderall I actually have the motivation to CLEAN up the mess, so I guess it isn't so bad.

I've taken klonopin illegally quite a few times. The first few times I was too ###$ up to be anxious, and after the sedation effects wore off with repeated use* I found that it didn't do much for my anxiety (i wrote this down while I was on it). it just made me forget everything that had happened for a day or so... so it's like... I FORGOT that I was anxious (i was surprised to read what i'd wrote when the klonopin wore off: i WAS feeling anxious when i was on it)

*its important to note that the sedation effects one feels from klonopin are SEPARATE from its supposed antianxiety effects

i'm thinking it'll be pretty tough to get an adderall script for anxiety, but i agree that adderall is better than klonopin at least in my experience. they're both risky pills to mess around with however i believe that klonopin's dependence/withdrawl issues are a lot shittier than adderall's. idk, i'd definitely rather take adderall, at least because it doesnt make me FORGET EVERYTHING.

You might want to bring up the possibility of AD/HD with the psychiatrist. If your dopamine usage system is off Adderall can correct that. Often, with AD/HD stimulant meds work the other way around as they do with other people.
Anxieties are very often comorbid with AD/HD. And dont forget, for AD/HD the hyperactivity component is not always a given. You can have combined or inattentive AD/HD as well.

Is Phentermine for weight loss that I am prescribed the same as the symptoms that I feel from my anxiety as Adderal?
