Lost and lonely

No one cares, no family support at all, only passive agressive replies and complaints, when will you ever get a girlfriend, when you will get your drivers license, you are no good, what does that degree help you, why would you want to work there...

I only stayed in the country to study because they wouldn't let me, I always dreamt of studying abroad (I'm from Central Europe, btw) but no, only yelling and complaints....I can't take it anymore, I don't want things to just be handed over to me, I just want you know...some support someone who is there, and not even my own parents aren't there....it just feels so alone, some nights I can't sleep or cry myself to sleep. Sorry for the long rant

I'm sorry to hear you are feeling alone while you are struggling with all this. It sounds like your family are really pushy.

Do you have anyone in your life that you can trust to talk to about these problems? It would be nice if you thought there was maybe someone you could open up to so that you could have some support. Have you thought about getting a therapist to help you work through understanding the issues you are having with your family? Something like that might help give you the strength you need to react differently to them, which in turn changes the dynamic between you and might mean you feel differently about the situation.

Where I live, seeing a therapist is a luxury, it's costly

That's bad that it's costly where you live. Healthcare shouldn't really be a luxury for only those that can afford it. It is good that you are having ideas, like writing here, to express yourself and help in some way while you don't have a therapist.

Is there anything else you can think to do during the times you are struggling with the lost and alone feelings? Maybe some self-care ideas?
