Hi everyone,
This may be in the wrong sub-forum. I wasn't able to find one that directly covers anger issues. I have an issue that I have been dealing with for two years, and it makes me so angry sometimes that I feel I'm going to have a heart attack in the near future if I can't resolve it. Obviously it makes sense to re-evaluate whether it's worth being "involved" in this issue if it causes so much pain and rage...but I'm writing here to see if there is a name for this behavior / situation:
You get so angry that your face tenses up and goes red and aren't technically screaming out loud because it's restrained but you are like "GRRRRRRR!" and you see electrical sparks for a quarter second. Sometimes after you have a headache and sometimes your eyes feel hot afterwards. It's almost like you're going into rage mode but instead of exploding you're compressing the explosion inside yourself.
I guess what is happening is a short circuit in your synapses. Is there a medical term for this? I had this happen again after yet another fierce argument last night and it's almost 24 hours later and still my face itself feels hot and my headache isn't gone. Obviously I'm going to talk to my doctor and try to find affordable counseling, but I'm posting here about this to see if anyone else has been in a situation like this or has a name for the medical term.
