Hi, I am going away with my husband for five days. Taking a plane. We don't typically travel or go on a lot of vacations. I'm a total Type A and am kind of a workaholic. Going away, and on a plane, to have fun has me very anxious. I'm afraid that something will go wrong while we are away. A part of me is very glad to get away and have fun but I am not used to it. Even people telling me "enjoy your vacation" stirs anxiety in me.
Can anyone relate to that? Turning positives into catastrophes?
