Seeing words in my mind's eye

I've started seeing words in my mind's eye

I was talking to my daughter as she was driving us to ASDA. She asked me where the best place to get stationary for work was. I was staring out the windscreen into the clear sky whilst thinking, and said ASDA or Wilkinson. As I said that, the letters ED flashed before my eyes. I actually saw the letters ED before my eyes and I don't know where they came from

Has anyone experienced actually seeing words in their mind's eye when their eyes were open?

I've been diagnosed with ADHD, borderline OCD (i.e. it only kicks in when I'm anxious) and G.A.D.
