Millon Personality Test

Postby creative_nothing » Thu Apr 02, 2015 9:49 pm

I am curious about what are your personality styles.

This test is based on millon taxonomy, witch itself was based on DSM III personality disorders.

Mine were unclear.

Despite that highest scores were on Conscientious/Compulsive and Eccentric/Schizotypal.

The low scores on Suspicious/Paranoid really surprised me.

Oh dear, oh dear. Either you clicked 'Agree' to too many questions that did not really apply to you, or you appear to have multiple, equally prominent personality styles. It is quite possible that you have several personality styles that are all strongly expressed and which co-exist in you. Whether you really have these multiple personality styles, or you just clicked 'Agree' too leniently, we are unable to say, and we are therefore also incapable of giving you a more personalized description. But you can consult the charts below in order to see which of the styles you score the strongest on.
57% Narcissistic
42% Antisocial
28% Histrionic
71% Dependent
42% Sadistic
85% Compulsive
71% Negativistic
42% Avoidant
71% Depressive
0% Masochistic
14% Borderline
28% Paranoid
57% Schizoid
85% Schizotypal
57% Hypomaniac

Dx. GAD

The low scores on Suspicious/Paranoid really surprised me.

I am often revising my assessments of whom I can and cannot trust.

My answer no!

That is because questions are poorly formulated. I simply trust no one, besides my mon and my sister.
This time I ve answer yes, despite incorrect;

Many other question that seemed to involve paranoia, were like this.

Dammit, I tried to be a bit more sane, but I got a draw again.

This time from Eccentric/Schizotypal, Shy/Avoidant, Skeptical/Negativistic and Conscientious/Compulsive

Third time, finally untied.

First time I got Conscientious/Compulsive and Cooperative/Dependent over Skeptical/Negativistic. That was simply not me. Must had made a mistake on a question. However Skeptical/Negativistic wouldnt be a surprise, if I scored in the first ahead of Eccentric/Schizotypal. However every schizotypal seen to be an non-conformist averse to be controlled by others just like negativists(passive-agressives)

Schizotypal

Your test scores suggest that your personality style entails: There is considerable variety in the traits of the personality style that you scored the strongest on (the schizotypal one). However, your fundamental characteristic seems to be a certain oddness - oddness in thought, oddness in behavior, oddness in speech, and oddness in perception. Your "odd" perceptions tend to be either illusory in character (i.e. a tendency towards magical thinking) or a slightly suspicious bent in the sense that you think that strangers are weird, threatening, or out to hurt you. Even those closest to you sometimes think that you are 'distant,' being more engaged with your own thoughts than what is going on around you.

My high scores on borderline and dependent are not surprising since I meet the diagnostic criteria for both. What surprised me is the 0% narcissistic. I answered "yes" to some questions that I thought were narcissistic but I guess are sadistic instead. But I guess I can see that because I don't want to be "special" or "better" I want to be like other people and normal.

Your personality style is:
Dependent
Your test scores suggest that your personality style entails: An overt need for social approval, reassurance, and affection. You are willing to give up your own ambitions to serve others and fulfill their needs. You are sometimes referred to as a "needy" personality, even by people with little psychological knowledge. You are temperamentally docile, non-competitive, and passive. You have a strong need to belong and to be accepted and a hard time making demands on others or delivering bad news.

I'm suprised I got schizoid multiple times, even though that's what I self-dentify as most strongly myself. Other high ones were bpd, narc and negative.
