Hi,
I have been diagnosed with GAD..
I now have difficulties in everyday life. I lack motivation. That is every task seems to me huge. I get discouraged very quickly and give up on things. Like work and studies. I get restless. My brain knows that I have to continue but I am psychologically not able. I get so anxious. I cry.. it is a torture. I have always been a top student and a very effective worker but now it is another story. It is if when I feel responsibility (I feel responsible for job, work, my projects), I become so anxious that it is intolerable.
What do you think I might be suffering from and how should I treat it?
Thank you!

Your case sounds very similar to what I delt with a few years ago. At the time I was untreated and just trying to do my best to finish college. My anxiety became so intense to the point where I had crippling stomach cramps and I confined myself to my room up at college for a week before my parents came up and applied for my medical withdraw. What it takes to get a handle on this situation is hard, I'm not going to lie. I recommend to go to therapy and find a reference for a reputable psychiatrist. You will feel lime a lab rat for a while going from med to med trying to find the combination that works best for you. Just know it is all about compromise. There is no poof you are better pill or advice that you can take or receive. But there is a treatment method that will help you cope with your problem. You just have to stay strong and pursue that treatment.
I hope the best for you
