Yeah it can, anything to do with muscles can be sore from stress and anxiety, being tense and so forth. Chest tightness, chest pains or discomfort anxiety or stress also can cause. I've gotten pains in the chest many times ranging from tight chest to pains. Yes what you are feeling is normal, you can get shocks as well, like a zap, also if you are on meds then that can also be a side effect. I've been zapped the odd time and it would scare me but now I know what it is it doesn't bother me any longer, neiher to the chest pains/discomfort, you know it's the anxiety because it goes away when you're not anxiety ridden. You've had all the test done and they have all come back clear, so you will be ok hon, remind yourself that. Don't focus so much on what your feeling. If you assume that your chest will hurt it will. Alot is mind over matter, you need to focus on other things when you feel like this, remind yourself that yes it is uncomfortable but it's anxiety. Anxiety sucks, but there are ways to cope with the symptoms so it isn't as bothersome. Hang in there.

johnny
ask doc about a beta blocker med, these reduce the physical problems from anxiety and should help
do you have any other meds for your problems?
