There are 3 things I have noticed since being gamble free:
1. I have a new found respect for money. Working a partime job for minimum wage really makes you realize how long it takes to make a buck. I will never just give my money away again.
2. Rest and relaxation. I don't have to get up in the middle of the night to check my bank account to assess how much damage I did the night before. My mind is so peaceful.
3. I can spend quality time with the people I love without the screams of the monster in the background urging me to go to the casino.
I like living like this.

1. Not worrying about the web of lies I fabricate
2. A MUCH better nights rest
3. Having the extra time and doing something positive with that time (spending time with family, exercise)

1. A big one for me is the feeling of having money in the bank account. When funds are low, it's nice to know it is due to spending on living expenses, and not from gambling.
2. Being able to relax and not worry about how to cover a loss from my husband. No more coverups, lies.
3. Actually feeling a sense of hope this time.

1. More time for grocery shopping and prepare healthy meals. When my husband and I were actively gambling we like to eat fried chickens, burgers and sandwiches from the fast food places.
2. Sleep like a baby and wake up fresh the next day.
3. Less arguments with husband because both of us are more calm and happy.

Having extra money. With that extra money I never thought I can buy a house, and a car.
Exploring new places I haven’t seen before. My trips are no longer planned with close proximities to casinos, which gets dull and boring.
