If you gamble all day and win you're called a pro. If you gamble all day and lose you are a problem gambler.
I mean: why do all problem gamblers I know lose so much and so often?
We lose much more often than it is mathematically expected.
Take for example my game - roulette. The house edge is 2,7%. This means that in order to lose $2,7K I should first make total bets of around $100K. In theory. No way in real life. In real life we lose money much much faster than we should. I wonder why. There is no good explanation other than (online) casinos are cheating us!
