GamAnon vs Gamblers Anonymous

I sincerely apologize in advance if this is a topic that's been beaten into the ground (as I am new here). But I was just doing an internet search to find out if there are meeting places locally to me. That's when I discovered these are two separate things. Which one? Whats the difference? Thanks

I believe Gamblers Anonymous are for addicted problem gamblers like us.
GamAnon is for friends and families of gamblers who seek counsel on how to cope.

Gamblers Anonymous is for the those with gambling addiction.

GamAnon is for the family members that are seeking support.

Each meeting is a bit different due to the people and the experiences of the individuals so if you are fortunate to be close to a variety of meetings, I suggest you give a few meetings a try to see which one suits you best.
