I've never used it , since I was strictly a casino gambler but anything that puts up a roadblock to gambling has my vote .

Casino gambling is bad , but I think online gambling is 100 times worse simply because of its unlimited accessibility .

NSR: I totally agree with you about online gambling; when they made that possible, it enabled gambling addicts to basically commit financial suicide in the privacy of their own homes very conveniently. It's a terrible fix to be in.

Don't know why that hasn't affected me too much.

I've only gambled on slots online once or twice. Its just not my thing. I dont feel the same rush while playing it. But, on the other hand - casinos are filled with strange people that i don't want to meet. I think what stopped me was exactly your reason - the fact that I know that in one night I can lose everything just because I'd get tilted.

I had a buddy of mine telling me that his company paid him to work in another place for a few months. He was getting his nice salary + like 50 euros per day to use as he wants. He lost all of the money he earned and needed to borrow from another person to come back in the country to online slots. That's how addictive those can be. But, there are a few people that are not affected by those and wants to play it live. Because they think "This machine eats my money, they will give it to me back someday".

In the past years, I've always noticed the same people in the casinos playing at the same machines. They don't even change it. If its available, they play it at until they don't have any cash left.

Gamblock is costly. I think that nothing stops a gambler from gambling, except his own will. If he doesn't have it, a software won't help too much.

I think there is no simple and straight forward answer to stopping gambling (like everything else in life). You should do whatever you can and see what will work for you. Usually it's a combination of things. You can't even know before trying.
It takes will and road blocks and pain and financial disaster and people being close to you and luck and...a lot of things we don't even know.
Every penny spent on stopping gambling is worth it even if it has no effect.

This being said, Billy I would say that you are not a millennial if you can escape the internet gambling. You're lucky. Or you're not an internet addict because they often go hand in hand.
Everything would have been easier for me if the gambling wasn't present on internet. It was my downfall. I never have and I never will loose serious amount of money in real casino. Online...god help me!

Please do not use Gamblock!

I have tried the product and it's terrible.

Firstly, it blocks many non-gambling sites, which was extremely bothering me at work, as I do need to visit non-gambling sites.

Secondly, it caused my browser to close so many times and forced my PC to get restarted without even visiting anything related to gambling.

If you want to block gambling sites - try any other software.

Also the license for 1 PC costs $180 - which is outrageous, no refunds, very poor customer support ... I hope this information would help anyone else considering this one - AVOID IT.

It does much more damage than good in my opinion.
