Don't know why that hasn't affected me too much.
I've only gambled on slots online once or twice. Its just not my thing. I dont feel the same rush while playing it. But, on the other hand - casinos are filled with strange people that i don't want to meet. I think what stopped me was exactly your reason - the fact that I know that in one night I can lose everything just because I'd get tilted.
I had a buddy of mine telling me that his company paid him to work in another place for a few months. He was getting his nice salary + like 50 euros per day to use as he wants. He lost all of the money he earned and needed to borrow from another person to come back in the country to online slots. That's how addictive those can be. But, there are a few people that are not affected by those and wants to play it live. Because they think "This machine eats my money, they will give it to me back someday".
In the past years, I've always noticed the same people in the casinos playing at the same machines. They don't even change it. If its available, they play it at until they don't have any cash left.
Gamblock is costly. I think that nothing stops a gambler from gambling, except his own will. If he doesn't have it, a software won't help too much.
