THE TRUTH ABOUT GAMBLING
“Gambling is the child of avarice, the brother of inequity and the father of mischief”
George Washington
“Gambling corrupts our dispositions, and teaches us the habit of hostility against mankind”
Thomas Jefferson
Gambling flourishes under the control of a criminal element and the blessings of corrupt police officials.
The vast majority of gamblers are a sick and disappointed people, when they do win, they usually lose it all again.
Gambling is like Cancer, it corrupting everything it touches.
Sin is a pleasure for a season and then the hell that follows makes it a poor deal all around.
We do not treat others like we like to be treated when we gamble, nor do we love our neighbor as ourselves.
The very nature of gambling; one person gains while many others suffer loss.
The economic benefits come only to a very few. The financial loss is usually borne by those who can least afford it.
Gamblers risk not only money but risk everything meaningful in life.

So true. I won over $9000 in one year, and gambled it all away. Then I gambled another $13,000.
Luckily I have come into some money with my inheritance. I am determined not to gamble it, and so far ... I haven't touched my inheritance. Gambling ruined my life once, but I will not let it drain my bank account ever again.
The casino was my best friend. Now, it's my worst enemy.

Good idea, honor the person from whom you inherited the money and put it to a good cause.
