Going on day 12 without doing any trades. It's tough with Tesla, Bitcoin and Ethereum stocks sinking into monthly lows. I really wanted to jump in and do a quick trade. I even called DirectTV to unblock all the business channels but was unsuccessful (fortunately the phone rep did not know how to unblock these channels). Resisted the temptation throughout the day and went for a 2 mile jog to clear my mind. I can't wait for these urges to disappear for good. I might take months or years but I will try my best to make it happen.

Exercise is a good choice I believe - I've used some lengthy walks myself at times of stress. It's also good for you physically and mentally in general, so an added bonus!

You seem to be fighting old behaviours, and your jogging probably helped you reduce the thoughts I hope?

It doesn't have to get any worse for you. Unfortunately, it will if you gamble again. As a friend of mine who has stopped gambling for 6 years says, "You can bet on one thing for sure if you go back to gambling: you will eventually regret it."

" If you ever drop your keys into a river of molten lava , let 'em go , because , man , they're gone ."

The truth behind the laughter got me through .

THAT is a keeper
