I just wanted to offer a quick note of thanks to NewSunRising. She has helped me so much over the past couple of years and each response she makes to everyone on this board is so well thought out and personal that I know she is really helping others conquer this terrible affliction.

We have such a strong , caring and supportive community here . You yourself have been no small part of that , along with so many more of our regular members . There's something about regaining hope and confidence that inspires us to give back to those who are struggling as we once did .

I am incredibly thankful for our community . I never thought when I joined it that I would find such strength and kindness here . I'm grateful and proud to be a part of that .

We can't make anyone stop gambling but we can offer them hope and advice and the affirmation that we are good people with a bad disease . There is great healing to be found in the words " You are not alone and you can do this ."
