Hi. I am returning to gambling from 3 beautiful gambling free years. I am back where I was 3 years ago, losing all my income in slots and can't seem to stop. I haven't tried these kinds of online forums/support groups so I don't know what to expect. However I know I have to try because I know where it will lead to. I acknowledge I am addicted and it's good start, but I get these moments of weakness where I lose control and gamble everything I have. I started leaving all my cards at home so I can't go to casinos on my way to/from work but still I gamble when I get home. And it feels like it's next level in my addiction that I started to gamble even at home. Sad... Recently I took some loans because of heavy losses I had and my lies to family about why my financial situation is poor is getting out of hand. I can get my act together, I know it, I've done it before and I will do it again. But at this moment I guess I need some moral support. Feel a bit down.
Thanks.

Welcome Kubd, what triggered you to go back gambling after so many years gamble free. Did you tink u would be able gamble again without being addicted?
The good news is if you managed to go gamble free for so long before, u will be bale do it again. U now knw no matter how long we hav being gamble free for we can not go back to gamble. Once an addict, always an addict. We just not capable of gambling without geting addicted and losing everyting

i know its easier said than done but looks like you need the no money = no gambling method, find this depressing sometimes, just the feeling of not able to buy you want / anytime you want. for your credit card you need to cut it as soon as possible, me i had cut and retained only 1 cc, my wife is keeping it, once debts are settled i will have it close.
good news is you have done this gamble free 3 years, imagine the money you lost was just 1 time against if you gambled for over consecutive 3 years, so it is just small.
