Bitcoin has gone through the roof again, anyone else tempted to get involved? surely its more of a calculated risk than a gamble?

I have gone back and forth with this so much myself. I tried to deposit last week and then had a password glitch and was told that I had to wait 24 hours to do any activity, so I decided to view that delay as a sign from the universe not to get involved in it.
These cryptocurrencies at times seem like pyramid schemes. I think one day there will likely be a crash, as governments will not likely adapt or countenance a bitcoin economy.

Rule of thumb.
Invest what you can afford to lose. It could get burned.
