Focus on today

Life is what you make it. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. You can’t change the past, but the future isn’t set in stone. You can effect a change there. Move forward not with hatred or love. Move forward with purpose.

Wise words notlookingback there is little to be had by constantly looking over our shoulder at what we did, better to just keep looking right ahead and enjoy each and every day that we remain gamble free

Good thoughts, Notlooking: I would like to add that many of us in our plight, after losing too much money, have thoughts of going back and gambling more to try and recover what we have lost, or try to change our circumstances that resulted from gambling in the first place. The hard part is not to surrender to such thoughts and realize that it will just worsen our situation. I think many of us wish that someone would've or could've stopped us when we went back and made our situation much worse than it had to be. I wish I could find the words that would stop a lot of people from going back and gambling more.
