Very happy to say Im 15 days gambling free.

The last three days I went to three meetings in a row and feel very happy with my progress. Ill take a break to focus on work next four days and go to meetings early next week.

Congratulations!

Enjoy it, and keep up the good work. I've just started reading this thread, and I, from the few weeks I've been around this forum, I can honestly say, that here, You'll never be alone. We can have different backgrounds, triggers, way of living, but we all face the same problem. Where I live I don't have any GA, but I'm really glad that you made it and that you're enjoying it.

Keep GF and you'll gain control of your life back, i'll lookforward to see you getting to 30 days, then 50 then 100.

regards
lookforward

@lookforward

Thanks for reading my thread and your kind comments!

Im sorry there is no GA by where u live. Wherever there is gambling there should be GA near to counter

Its been 19 days since Ive gambled and every day Im getting stronger. I went four days in a row going by casino with no slip. This thread and GA is really helping!

I cant wait to get to 30/50/100 days, they will be huge milestones for sure. But also need to focus on one day at a time as the danger is always lurking, but we must stay strong!

Tomorrow Im looking forward to first meeting since Wednesday and the start of a new week.

That is aweome MTLondon!!!!

You are exactly 20 days ahead of me and lets keep it that way :).

I still think about it, but mostly when I have to drive by casinos which are all over Seattle.

One of my life dreams is to visit England to see a few friends and a country Ive always wanted to see. If I stay gamble free I can do it next year.

20 days sober!

Today Im 30 days sober!!

I cant believe how less I think of actually go gambling and how much more I work on my recovery. I go to GA 3 times a week and read a lot about staying sober. It takes an effort but well worth it.

Ive lost weight, have made new friends, paid a little debt off, dont have 12 cents in my checking account, no more gambling hang-overs, no lost time, I feel like I have a future and so much more.

Im still in the infancy of my sobriety, but I feel great and I know I will not be gambling today. I know tomorrow if I get the urge I have tools to combat it.

Thank u so much NewSunRising, I love the cake!

Hope your travels went well. I love to travel but my gambling took that away both for funding and the fact whenever I travel I end up finding somewhere new to gamble. I cant wait to get strong enough to get out there and have the proper defenses to stay sober and see the world more.

haha, maybe one day a name change will be in order if possible, but for now I still need the but, as life is a war out there!

32 days gamble free, three meetings a week seems perfect for my 45/50 hr work schedule.
