INE, maybe you could let us know what you've done with all the extra time you've had since you quit? I'm sure it would inspire some people.

Thanks NSR, countdown is on!

Buster, yes it's amazing how much extra time I've had since quitting. Most of the time has involved getting seriously fit, fitter than I've been in 20 years. I'm also eating healthier and taking time to cook and prepare food for my family rather than eating ready meals or take-out food.

I've been far more focused with my job than I was 12 months ago. Before I was disinterested and did the bare minimum. My effort and performance should earn me a bonus this year and more than I won with that waste of time pastime gambling. Perhaps the biggest change has been the time I've spent with friends and family in the last 12 months. Gambling made me reclusive and unsociable to be around. Thankfully all of this has changed. What about you? What's the big changes you've seen in how you've spent your time?

16 days. Received a coupon mailer from a casino yesterday and immediately threw it away. Told them specifically not to send them to me two weeks ago. They are relentless.

Thanks for the positive comments. Your positivity has helped me greatly get to this position.

I know what you're saying about the relentless nature of casinos. I spent quite a bit of time last year blocking emails and calls. Recently they've tried calling me under new numbers . I'm now considering changing my phones numbers and email addresses as a result. Stay strong and clean!!

I've done almost the same as you INE. I've lost a lot of weight, converted a room in my house to a gym and have been working out like crazy. I'm seeing muscles that I never knew I had and I'm cooking all the time and really conscious about what I eat. I've also traveled a lot, started playing golf again and got a new and much better job. The friends and family time is way up as well.

If I think about it I'm more upset about the time I lost than I am about the money I lost.

365! One year! 12 months!....sounds good any way I say it!

Thanks Nuevo_dia, you will be here soon I know it!!

Buster, good to hear how you've used all that extra time. Like you the lost times hurts me more. I don't care about the money losses any more.

Actually the euphoria I feel today is actually better than any gambling win I ever had...

All the best
