You should be getting close to day 21 Joe (day 17 if I am correct)
I remember when I was trying to quit over 17 years, the longest I ever abstained from gambling was 2 weeks twice. Those first three weeks can be so tough, so its great to hear that you are almost there!

I lost money at the casino July 25th and I basically started gamble free July 26th so today will be day 18 without a single dollar lost to gambling and it hasnt been like the other times I have stopped. This time it feels like the last 3 months was a deal breaker for me.

Thank you newsunrising! Almost have completed 24 hours. This may be the hardest day, as I am itching to start again, but am determined that yesterday was my last day.

That a great update Joe!
You are now setting a new record for yourself! Look at all the hard work you have put in the past 3 weeks and don't get the number of gf days go back to 0. Be vigilant and never complacent with your recovery.

29 days and counting ain't no stopping me... all I carry is 10 bucks on me and leave debit card at home. Reason for this is most my gambling was during work hours and I would just pull out money. Finally get to see what I was missing all these years. Brings back memories of before gambling ever started on how happy i was and the feeling of no worries...

That is Amazing! I also carry very limited cash (no cash actually). With no money, there is no trigger and it makes gambling less accessible.
I hope you are now out of the fog now and can begin to see the other beautiful things in life without the gambling.... like a good nights sleep
