Desperate Newcome

Hi, I just want to say Im so thankful I came across this forum. I have read many posts over the last couple of days and for once Idon't feel that I am out there alone hidding my dirty little secret. I would like everyone for your sharing all the trouble gambling has brought to your lives and hope of gambling free life.
I am taking the first step today I'm walking into a counseling center in hopes of finding an addiction specialist. I have been living telling one lie after another. I have to be brutally honest today. I have hit rock bottom and I'm desperate for help

Finding the right therapist involves some degree of luck. My friend recommended one to me. She's been a huge help even though addiction isn't her specialty. Still, I no longer have the urge to gamble....something I thought would happen. Good luck to you.
