Thanks for the kind words brainpan It seems as you admire these rings for the same reasons as me, though I just seem to like them overall on both genders. I love long slender fingers as much as you do but to me the band itselfe makes for a beautiful accesory to the hand bacuse of the rich gold color of such rings. The width of the band makes for å bigger surface to shine. The feeling of the metal covering most of your lower ring finger and most importantly for me, the soft edges makes for a comfortabel ring both t wear and look at. The hand doesn`t need to be long at all, I think the ring itselfe should be there for the beauty of it. My fetish is strongly spesific about the comfort of it and he look of it. The width just feels so incredibly good on your finger and to feel and see others wear it is an amzing erotic feeling. Bacuse when I see one that wears it, I know how they can feel the ring around their finger. I also like to feel the smoothness of the ring around a womans hand. Certainly connected to your secondary fetish would be, in my case, to experience the natural follow up to being bound and that would entail being gagged. In fact, I believe the term for what you described is, "hand gagging", which clearly you have a thing for.

In response to your desire to be handgagged by a woman wearing a large wedding band of the curved kind, I have to confess to having considered that a turn on myself,as a prelude to being bound.

With my captors' one arm snaking around me and pinioning one of my arms to my sides,her ringed hand would be clasped across my mouth.

Then, after being caught in this way, the binding would begin. This would, in the ideal scenario, be a very slow wrapping of the ropes around my body in loops,each loop touching the one above it, starting from just below the shoulders down to the elbows and linked to ropes securing my hands at the wrists behind my back. I can only speak for the UK but, by my reckoning, based on my own experiences and the regularity of sightings of women wearing excessively wide bands (The "D" type, barrel shaped, call them what you will) it would suggest that the two decades where these rings were most often chosen, certainly by British women, would appear to have been the 60s and 70s.

As a result, as the decades have gone by, then Natural wastage, for want of a better description, has led to a gradual tailing off of the numbers of women likely to be seen wearing them, hence the "D" ring drought, so to speak.

A great shame.

As a result, I have on occasion wondered just what it was that has led to the really wide bands becoming less and less popular, to the point where they have to now be custom made to order.
