Am I a pedophile?

I'm an 18 year old girl that loves reading and looking at shotacon, and fantasizing/reading stories about a father and his son have rough sex (boy is ages 10-18). However, whenever I see a child I always think that their cute (not cute in terms of sexual attraction, just being cute). I love kids, and I would never do anything to hurt a child in any way. I believe that rape and mole station are horrifying, and I never fantasize me abusing another child. Child abuse, especially sexual abuse, makes me sick to the bone. So am I a pedophile?

I don't think you really sound like a pedophile to me, if you don't fantasize about having sex with a child yourself. Have you thought about or explored the reasons you like shotacon and stories about fathers and sons? There might be a deeper psychological reason those kinds of stories appeal to you.

I'm not a pedophile, but I've spent some time reading lolicon/shotacon stories. Some people enjoy them for the power dynamics between the adult and child, some people specifically like the parent/child dynamic. Basically, you don't have to be a pedophile to like shotacon.

Just be careful and check the laws in your country, lolicon and shotacon are illegal in some countries.
