Forum rules
This is a support forum for the family, partners and friends of those with mental health issues. This forum is intended to be a safe place to discuss information, give and receive support and learn about all the issues related to being involved with a person with a disorder. Whilst it can be healthy to express various emotions, please remember to be respectful about the disorder itself. This is a place for constructive discussions, not a venting forum.

The issues experienced by the significant others of those with disorders cannot always be discussed in the other parts of the site in a way that does not trigger those with disorders. Moderators may therefore move threads from other forums into this one at their discretion.

Then why post it in the NPD forum ?
Trust all the things I tell you are true, dress up in your best so I can be proud of you, and never believe I won't turn on you, and never believe I do this for you. You're leading me on again and I find it, yeah I like it, and I'm reeling in awe for sure, now I know it was given to me.

I think it's because in other PD forums the interactions between people with the PD and those without it were becoming tense, to the point that the moderators stepped in and made it clear that it was a support forum for those with the PD not for those involved with people with the PD to diffuse the tension, with threads such as this being made to make it easier for people to post things without "triggering" people with the PD.

HI,
I have been asked several times, for several reasons to have a sub Forum.
Administration decided not to add any sub-forums to the Personalilty Disorders.
The only thing Admin could do then is give Non-NPD'ers a Support thread.

Nothing personal meant to anyone here, just try to give everyone some space.
It is what it is. The others PD forums will be provided with the same kind of thread.

screw that. There are hundreds of sites where weaklings like you can cry about how you were dumb enough to tangled with people like us. I can't speak for anyone here, but I get tired of having to pretend to act like you bunny rabbits to get by. This one site, is where people like me can actually be ourselves. you have no right to be here.

I've been on this forum for over 2 years - it was never intended to be just a forum for narcissists. That isn't the intent now.

Not that long ago, this forum had a good mix of diagnosed NPD, undiagnosed and strongly traited narcissists, those who suspected narcissism in themselves, those who'd 'tangled' with narcissists, and those curious. All were pretty respectful of each other, and the challenges were direct and honest with little sarcasm and not too much game-playing. Many of the narcissists were 30 and older. Everyone was learning from everyone else.

That's certainly not the case anymore.

I'm looking forward to when the forum swings back to the way it was before. Frankly, in its current state, its pretty boring to me.
