I turn 20 in July, but somehow their excuse that 20 is a small number???? Are you ######6 kidding me right now? And the funniest thing is that they ACTUALLY let me attend my high school's centenary party, where there was a greater risk of being sexually assaulted, but I can't attend a party in a goddamn cottage??? I still live with my parents, have no driver's license, and I've never had a job.

I don't feel really happy.

Well, where I live the age of majority is 19, but you're already that.
Things are different now- I was chomping at the bit to get a DL, the idea of a teenager not getting one and driving as soon as they can cajole their parents into it is foreign to me, but I hear that's rather common these days. Is that your decision, or theirs, to not drive?
Some of this is unfortunately going to come under 'my house, my rules'. I don't care how old you are, you living under my roof, there gonna be some rules. That's how it was for me as an adult child living at home, although I had a fairly loose leash and never had a desire to find the limits of said leash.
Some parents are more protective than others.

I get it, but why can't I atleast just enjoy spending more time in social events with mutual aged people, instead of just staying in bed every single day? No matter how many attempts I try to convince them, they explain every worst case scenario that I will be harmed in any way.
