Music might help

Scott Weiland died lately and he was known as a drug and alcohol abuser, which is well known to turn us very normal people into the very people we have a problem with. He wrote many songs on his dysfunctional relationships which may give you some insight, for you exHPD sufferers this one is very poignant, cry your eyes out and recover.

I think a lot of his songs were inspired by opiates. Even in the first STP album you could see it in the lyrics. I absolutely loved this band back in the 90's, but of course then I was too young and ignorant to really understand what he was singing about. The song Wicked Garden in particular took on new meaning for me after discovering Cluster B disorders.

For me, it's about a guy who recently got free from the PD in his life, and he's still at the stage where maybe he doesn't realize what she is and thinks there's still hope to fix her.

Wicked Garden by Stone Temple Pilots wrote:Can I bring you back to life? Are you scared of life?

Wicked Garden by Stone Temple Pilots wrote:Can you feel pain inside?
Can you love?
Can you cry?
I wanna run through your wicked garden
Heard that's the place to find you
'Cause I'm alive
So alive now
Out of the dark that blinds you

This sums up what I went through right after my ex (HPD) and I split up.
