I know for sure that dyslexia is not a vision problem. Dr. Sally Shaywitz, Dr. Gordan Sherman, and many other scientists have shown through functional MRI's that the brains of dyslexic's work differently for tasks like reading. There are inefficiencies in the parts of brain used for reading so their brains have to compensate. It's not necessarily a psychological problem, but often psychologists do the psycho-educational testing to diagnose dyslexia, hence my question about the specific tests.
You can find more info on the research by searching for Dr. Sally Shaywitz at the Yale Center for Dyslexia and Creativity online.
