Hello to all,
see, I am having some thoughts about my violent grandfather, who had a right to act out his war disturbances and frustrations on my father and his brothers. Now, I can remember the domestic violence in my own family when I was a kid made by my father and his buried anger toward his father. My father never talked about his childhood. He just said that his childhood was rubbish, but that's it. Now, I am too worried about the things I have learned that could be tolerated, the anger, disrespect, violence, abuse... For some things, my grandfather and my father could be in jail (there are things I haven't mentioned), so...
I am asking here, what have I learned from their behavior? That in the house there is no law? That I can do what ever I want with my wife and my children (I am still single, no kids)? The kids learn from the actions, not the words, right? There is the message, the point, in the actions!
